I seem to be bitten by a bit of Americana recently, as this is my third post regarding an American vehicle in a row. This one might just be the most special, because it was the only original car made by the late, great Carroll Shelby.
I wrote about the Series 1 on this site in the past, and you can read all the details on it >>>here<<<.
This 1999 silver example — which features a unique 2/3rd orange stripe — has covered just 246 miles since new. As with most Series 1 models, this unit is propelled by a normally-aspirated Oldsmobile 4.0L V8 — 320 hp, 290 lb-ft of torque — with power fed to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual gearbox.
This private seller is asking $128,900 for his very well kept example.
Trust me, if I had the funds available to me right now, I’d buy this car — because not only should this be an entertaining car to drive, it will surely increase in value with time also.
